dISC&DISC

DISC&DISC are an ultimate frisbee team. Their need was to have a new visual identity that better corresponded to their values and ideals such as: passion, warmth, fun and territoriality.
Their main objectives in the future are to attract new players in an inclusive way to expand, reach new, more competitive competitions and build a supportive Ultimate reality in Southern Italy.

Concept

Find an animal that would act as a mascotte that would incarnate all the values, hopes, rules and soul of the team.

Idea

The gecko. The idea behind the gecko is to recall the team's native territory, Puglia, where encountering a gecko not only happens frequently but is also believed to bring good luck. A gecko is also very fast and smart.

Execution

A full branding project including flying discs and unifrorms with the typical pattern of gecko's paws, symbol of a tight hold on a disc like a gecko on a wall.
